Every woman on this earth wants to have blazing and succulent lips which gives a strong impact on men. A beautiful lip adds beauty to your personality and a woman can feel confident on herself.

Therefore the last rule to bright your beauty is proper way of lipstick application. Generally women think if they have only beauty thing with them then it can be lipstick.

Lip color creates whole beauty in you and can bring harmony. To maintain the beauty of lips you should always have lip color with you and re apply whenever required.

Always choose lip color according to your clothing style and blush colors. The color of your dress and blush should have complement with your lipstick but it does not completely match with your clothes or blush color it should have some contrast with respect to your dress but lip color which you are applying should have same concentration and choice. At time try to wear warm and cool colors together. For example pink lipstick should go with pink and blue colors clothes whereas corals and russets should go with yellow or orange dress. Therefore always be selective in your lip color.

There are various steps which one you should follow to apply lip colors. These are:-

1. Apply foundation all over your lips this extends your wear.

2. Via a lip pencil which should be soft and pointed, start making outline and give shape over your lip. Starting with V in your upper lip drawn to corners of your lip. After that at the middle of bottom lip make a line to the corners. Use your lip pencil all over the lip so that lip color on lips will stay longer.

3. Then fill upper lip with a lip stick or you can also use lip brush.

4. The next step is filling the lower lip, blemish it and then reapply.

5. To have more attractive look daub a gloss in the c entre of lower lip.

If you follow these simple steps you can have more glamorous lips which can easily catch others!
Whenever you define your lips with lip pencil make sure that lip stick colors and lip pencil should be in close contact with your lips. If you apply lip liner it should not be visible. Lip liners are only meant to keep lip stick in its place.

Make sure that dark lipsticks will make your lips to look even smaller.

FRUITY LIP GLOSS

INGREDIENTS

2 Tbs solid shortening
1 Tbs fruit-flavored powdered drink mix
35 mm film container

PROCEDURE

  • Mix shortening & drink mix together in a microwave safe bowl till smooth!
  • Place in microwave on high for 30 seconds until mix becomes a liquid!
  • Pour into clean (wash thoroughly before use) film container, or any other small airtight container!
  • Place mix into fridge for 20-30 minutes or till firm!

NATURAL LIP BALM

Lip balms very useful in the winter to avoid sore, chapped lips. Although lipsticks can protect your lips to some extent, many people prefer lip balm, as they usually made with out the use of animal fats. It also means you can protect your lip without coloring them as well. Homemade lip balm is really effective. Using a natural, organic base and infused oils, essential oils, and beeswax, you can create nourishing lip balm that will protect your lips against the drying effect of the cold, wind and central heating.

ANISEED AND LEMON HOMEMADE LIP BALM

This is a sharp, refreshing lip balm that leaves a fresh, clean taste on your lips. The base of almond and apricot oils gently lubricates and moisturizer the lip, while the vitamins E is good for regenerating the lips delicate skin.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 drops yellow color base,
  • 2 tablespoon (30ml) calendula oil,
  • 4 tablespoon (50ml) sweet almond oil,
  • 2 tablespoon (25ml) apricot kernel oil,
  • 1 drop liquid honey,
  • 1 tablespoon (12gm) beeswax pellets,
  • 2 vitamin E capsules,
  • 2 drops aniseed,
  • 3 drops lemon.

PREPARATION

  • Make the yellow color base by adding one teaspoon of ground turmeric to one tablespoon of sunflower oil in a small cup.
  • Heat over boiling water or in a microwave until it, bubbles, then remove from heat and pour into a dropper bottle.
  • Prepare a double boiler (one saucepan that fits inside another) by filling the bottom half with hot water and heating to a gentle simmer.
  • Measure out the base oils, one by one, and pour into the top half of the boiler.
  • Add the honey, beeswax pellets, and yellow color base. Stir gently to mix the ingredients.
  • As the beeswax is melting, prick open the vitamin E capsules and squeeze the contents into the oils.
  • Once the beeswax has fully melted remove from the heat. Drop in the aniseed and lemon and stir to mix them in thoroughly.
  • Pour into small glass jars or ceramic pots, and let cool for half an hour or until set. The lip balm is ready to use.

The yellow color base gives the impression of lemon, but you could use a brown color base if you prefer, as this gives the impression of aniseed.

HONEY AND ROSE HOMEMADE LIP BALM

The delicate smell of roses combines with the sweetness of honey to make a truly sc and luxurious lip balm. The use of heating calendula oil soothes and heals chapped lips, while the rose hip oil keeps the lips smooth and moisturized.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 drops red color base,
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) rose hip seed oil,
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) calendula oil,
  • 5 tablespoon (75ml) sweet almond oil,
  • 1 drop liquid honey,
  • 1 tablespoon (12 gm) beeswax pellets,
  • 2 vitamins E capsules,
  • 5 drops rose.

The red base color gives the honey and Rose Lip Balm a soft, peachy-pink tone. You can omit this altogether if you prefer an uncolored lip balm.

Severe and chronic chapped lips are a result of very dry skin on the lips. Dry skin occurs when the moisture, content of the skin is decreased for any reason. The skin on our lips is actually mucous membrane, so for them to remain smooth and chap free is a bit of a challenge.

CAUSES

* Common cause of severe and chronic chapped lip are allergic reaction to cosmetics, skin infections, extreme weather conditions like excess sun and wind exposure, biting of the lips or a vitamin B deficiency.
* A lack of essential fatty acids and B vitamins, poor dietary habits and dehydration.
* Allergic reaction to cosmetics like lipsticks, lip-gloss.
* Extreme weather conditions like excess sun and wind exposure.
* A product with a penetrating analgesic can soothe the lip quickly and effectively. Massage dry lip with lip balm or petroleum jelly. You can also try coating your lip with skin moisturizer, vitamin E oil or aloe vera gel. These greasy products help keep your lip properly moisturized.

SYMPTOMS CHAPPED LIPS


When the Lip are chapped they usually have the following qualities roughness, dryness, redness, peeling, cracking, sensitivity and tenderness.

SIMPLE HOME STEPS TO CURE CHAPPED LIPS


* Avoid going out in dry, cold weather without putting on lip balm or lipstick.
* Keep lips soft by not licking them.
* Try to keep the air in your home humid.
* Use a sunscreen on your lips when outside in sunny weather.Avoid excessive sun exposure.
* Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables.
* Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration.
* Take vitamin B, C foods in diet.
* Hot water fomentation, followed by a mixture of Vaseline and honey applied on the lips at least thrice a week will prevent lips from chapping.
* Give dry, flaky lip the brush-off; Once a week exfoliate your lip. Wet a soft toothbrush and gently brush your lip with a circular motion.
* When participating in outdoor activity, use a lip balm that contains a sun block to prevent sunburn.
* If lip become chapped, avoid wearing lipsticks while lip are recovering as drying products in color pigments may irritate chapped lip.

GLYCERIN AND MILK CREAM

* Mix 2 drops of glycerin with 1 tsp of cream on the top of milk and apply to lip to cure the chapped lip and keep overnight to get smooth and shiny lip. Helps to cure dry chapped lip.
* Grind rose petals with cream on the top of milk and apply on lip to cure the severe and chronic chapped lip. Helps to cure severe and chronic chapped lip.

MENTHOLATUM

Before you go to bed at night rub some Mentholatum on your chapped lip. Use as much as you would if you were applying Chap Stick. When you wake in the morning the dryness is gone. Works especially well with cracked and severe chapped lip. This remedy leaves your lip soft and supple.

PETROLEUM JELLY

Apply petroleum jelly to your lips 3-5 times a day. The great part is that it's clear and thin, so it looks great over your lipstick because it's shiny! It helps in great deal to cure the severe and chronic chapped lips.

UNSALTED BUTTER

Rub melted unsalted butter on your lip. Just doing this once or twice weekly can prevent chapped lip. During extreme winters, apply Vaseline at nights and carry a chap stick for use when needed. This will help to cure from the severe and chronic chapped lips.

OLIVE OIL

Take a little bit of olive oil on the tip of your figure, and place on your chronic chapped lips as you would Chap Stick. You will have immediate results.
